Who is Primal?

Primal Performance Training is a health, strength, and fitness company owned by Nikki Stock; Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, USAW-certified Weightlifting Coach, among other titles.

I started my business in 2018 as I was transitioning out of my first and last full time job in Campus Recreation. I started coaching as a Personal Trainer in college (circa 2012) at the University of Minnesota. From there I developed a fascination and love for exercise science. I happened to have the opportunity to work alongside Massage Therapists while I was in graduate school, and that sparked my interest in combining holistic recovery and healing methods with training principles. When I started Primal I was also attending Massage Therapy school and have been Licensed since the fall of 2018.

Now through a unique blend of coaching and massage therapy, I guide clients on how to optimize their lives and achieve the physical and mental vitality so many people lack in society today.

Suffice it to say, the foundation of my business is education. Education for myself and education for my clients. Nothing is more crucial to a healthy existence than knowledge and understanding. The constant pursuit of knowledge is what sets our fitness and wellness services apart. we do not settle in to a specific modality, format, or fitness trend that becomes popular. We have only begun to scratch the surface with human body. We are here for a lifetime of studying so you don’t have to sift through nonsense to discover what optimizes you. The possibilities are endless in the pursuit to develop strong, healthy, and happy bodies.
