RPR® is a bodywork technique that uses massage or “scrubs” on muscle reflex points to improve the brain’s communication to the muscles and reduce compensation patterns that cause pain, poor performance, and contribute to chronic stress.
RPR helps reset how people breathe and activate their muscular system, which is the first step in the process of moving well.
When we suck at breathing and our muscles are not firing in the proper sequence it leads to compensations. Compensations lead to pain and injuries. The simple process of using RPR Wake Up Drills and, when necessary, coach-applied tactile input, resets the nervous system to get the body firing the way it needs to move correctly and train better. Simply put, RPR reduces pain and fixes movement issues. Over time, RPR can reduce your cumulative stress, relax your body, and help you kick bad habits that have you in a chronic state of stress.
